“ Went to this place on the fly. Husband and I were planning on picking up a tv in glen carbon. We were craving bar food. This place did not disappoint. Not a huge menu, but just enough. Their list of bourbons and whiskeys is outstanding. I tried their tomato basil pizza that's on like a chibatto roll. We had the Gus's pretzel rolls with cheese dip. My husband had their King Arthur sandwich. He enjoyed it. Outside in the back area they have games and ample seating. We sat inside as it was busy. They have a huge back lot. It's right off 157 and borderline collinsville/glen carbon area. We will definitely be back! Love the cabin vibes for sure. They were also very prompt with checking in on us. ”
“ I had always wanted to try this place, but could never get anyone to try it with me. Well! Finally got to experience this great place. The atmosphere is very cool, gives me an "old bar" vibe. Great seating outside and a screened in porch! So we get the menu which has great choices, all items are interesting! Wanted to try them all! But we got nachos, the only salad on the menu and spedini. Everything was excellent! The nachos have BBQ sauce, I'm not a fan, BUT! this was fantastic! Our new favorite place! Everyone there is super friendly, so check it out! ”
“ Met my wife here. Big drinks. Cold beer. Great bologna. Tasty flatbreads. Popcorn. Good energy. ”
“ Halloween weekend - busy place and seemed a bit understaffed as our server was managing several tables as well as making drinks at the bar. However, service was timely, efficient and cheerful. I split a sandwich with an accompanying friend and our server very thoughtfully had split the check and our drink orders without us even asking- very impressive especially on a busy night! We had the Cuban and it was well prepared with crispy bread as it should be. Prices are in line with quality and quantity. Their cocktail menu is fun but most importantly the cocktails taste good. Setting is quite casual and can tend to be noisy. My only negative is I wish they had fries! ”
“ Finally tried them after driving past for YEEEARS! Always thought it was a bar that also served food, but found out exactly how excellent their food really was. AND they've got a nice mixed drink cocktail list that I'd like to try more of. We shared a Cabin Cuban and it was DELICIOUS! And half was plenty for me. So, if I'd bought the whole thing, it would've been another meal for me (if I'd been able to staaaaaahp). Service was a little slow, but understandable as it looked like there was only one waitress (who was also helping behind the bar). A friend let me taste her Sal's Spedini and THAT's something I'd order! Ambiance of a bar, but cozy, clean and neat, not divey. Would LOVE to come back here and try more things!!! ”
“ I'm always surprised this place has quality food as it looks as if it's merely a bar. However, their panini sandwiches especially are top-notch with house smoked meats and crispy panini bread. The bread holds up well with the ingredients and sauces inside. I ordered the Frank and it was exceptional. My spouse ordered the King Arthur which he had before and loves. We both tried the "Bad-Ass" Marg which was large and delicious but tastes slightly more of orange than your typical margarita. Our server was attentive and checked on us several times throughout our meal. The nice thing about The Cabin at Judy Creek is the ambiance and no one rushes you to leave so you can hang out and sip your drinks for as long as you please on their covered patio, their outdoor patio, or their outside seating! We will drive by and see bonfires at night with people hanging out enjoying each others' company. FYI, most of the parking is in the back. We will be back to try their bacon fat popcorn! ”
“ Three must try items: 1. bacon fat popcorn 2. Pulled pork nachos 3. Trash pizza Okay, four... Strawberry mule Always busy, love the bar service. Laid back atmosphere with great bands, bonfires, music and food. Nothing matches, fun old glasses, it's a perfect cabin. ...can't go wrong with this place! ”
“ We recently went here on a Sunday afternoon. Now we have been there many times but it was such a great visit that I wanted to leave a review. First off the ambiance at the cabin is hard to beat. The inside is so cozy just like a cabin. It's so cute! There's also a screened in porch that is heated in the winter. They are also pet friendly on their outdoor patio. There's a great beer selection and the food isn't your typical bar food. We had the pulled pork nachos. Amazing!! The Mic is also an excellent choice. Yes it's fried bologna but trust me it's so good! Bacon fat popcorn is always a hit also. The staff is wonderful and the food will keep you coming back! ”
“ We stopped at the Cabin for a quick lunch. It was unfortunately cold outside but they have a great looking outdoor space and heaters in room in the back. We chose to eat in the main dining area by the bar. The wall decor was fun to look at and read and all contained some form of "cabin". I ordered their Cabin Cuban which comes on Dutch Crunch Ciabatta. The bread was served warm with a crunchy outside but it was soft on the inside. The pulled pork was tasty and plentiful. With each bite you could taste pickle and spicy brown mustard. It was a really good Cuban sandwich. ”
